Corgi James Bond 007 Goldfinger Aston Martin 1965

One of the most famous movie cars of all time, this is the Aston Martin from the James Bond film Goldfinger. This movie ended up spawning many toys, some licensed from the film and some generic secret agent films. The famed Aston Martin probably had the most fun gadgets of any James Bond car and many are reproduced here.
The original Aston Martin was silver but Corgi decided to go with gold. This one has faded a bit and looks silver. This one is also a first issue model as it says "New" on the underside. Now to cover all the exciting features on this model.
To start off the the front bumper goes forward and two machine guns pop out. This is controlled by a lever seen in photo 2. The ejection seat lever is just behind it. Speaking of the ejection seat I am missing the passenger. A repro passenger costs what I paid for this. May just wait for mint model. The ejector seat is probably the most notable feature. It opens quite fast so the passenger will be flying. Also the front and rear license plates rotate. Each has three different plates. My favorite though is the bullet proof shield that pops up in the back. Oops almost forgot the spinners on the rear tires. Those will flatten the tires of opposing vehicles, a bit like the chariots in Ben Hur.
