Marx 6" Figures Knight and Cowboy With Lasso MCMLXV

That means 1965 for those at home who do not speak Roman Numerals. When one collects Marx toys one learns Roman Numerals. That does not mean they were made in 1965 but that is when Marx started making them. They may have been made up until 1975 but I am thinking more likely it was 1969/1970. These were sculpted by (I forgot the name but if I find out I will post it here). These sculpts are known for detail and animation. The knees are bent on the knight as they would be in a real fight. Earlier figures stood straight and stiff. Arms straight out and so on. Also note the chain mail on the lower section. Areas that needed more flexibility than the plate armor. People have believed heavily armored knights could barely move on their feet but this is much more accurate. Knights were well trained to fight in well articulated armor.
Next is the cowboy with lasso. Again everything perfect here such as the folds on the shirt. Looks like he is ready to toss the lasso. Reminds me of Time Bandits where knights and cowboys fight evil. Did not go well for them but the Supreme Being took care of that.
