today's fun find -- turquoise/brass beaded "hippie necklace"??

I can't say I really know what this is or its actual history, but from its source it quite likely could be authentic 1960's-70's, +/- a decade or so. Also can't say for sure I know what the blue beads are, but they appear just un-uniform enough that they might be real turquoise, interspersed with brass tube beads, on a leather lanyard and holding a pendant consisting of a black rock bound to a small wooden holder with some kind of fiborous material. It is 17" long when stretched out. (pic4)

Anybody gots a clue for me?? Or just a guess?? <beg> :-) :-) :-)
