Very cool old radio. Unfortunately it does not work. Extremely heavy radio. Not sure if I am going to get it working again. Might have to pass it along to someone who can fix it.

Pics are kinda dark and small, but still looks like a nice mostly intact old radio! Can you share who made it and/or any model info? (likely on a paper label inside the back, if its still there) Anyways, it looks like a *fine* candidate for a restoration?!!!

Looks cool at least. Put your phone in it and you can pretend it looks.

If you like it, you shouldn't pass it along. These old radios usually take little work to be fixed and radio repair isn't expensive. A good cleaning, replacing old wax capacitors, some resistors, maybe a vacuum tube and having it aligned will probably do the trick.
