Built in 1954 Marineland of the Pacific was built in 1954. It was at one time the largest aquarium typr park in the world. I used to go there when It was in Palos Verdes California which is the southern tip of Los Angeles County. I went there as a kid and teen. It was featured in an episode of the Beverly Hillbillies. They went there to fish.
The largest structure had two aquariums. both were three stories tall. The oval one was for fish and the other for mammals. Looks like there was a show at the seal and sealion pool or was that the bottlenose dolphin pool? They had other smaller dolphins in the three story pool. This was before they added the killer whales I am thinking.
Speaking of killer whales according to the postcard that is Orky who was a male killer whale. But I recall him as being larger and the dorsal fin doesn't seem large enough. Plus Orky's fins looked like garage doors. That is what a trainer said during a show. He shook Orky's fin and said it was like shaking hands with a garage door. So perhaps that is Corky his mate. Corky is large for a female killer whale.
In the 1980s Sea World bought Marineland. Orky did not survive long after the move but Corky is still alive in Sea World San Diego and is 55 years old. Which is about the equivalent of 130 in human years.

Thank you very much Newfld. Normally they live about 35 which is long for a carnivore.

And thank you very much vynil.

      Lucy went too!
"Lucy goes out to California, checks Jerry into Los Angeles Military School with Major Grayson (Harvey Korman), goes to the bank to get money from her trust fund where coincidentally Mr. Mooney has been transferred, and they go to Marineland to see baseball outfielder Jimmy Piersall, where hijinks ensue.
