A wood and wire stereo card viewer. I've had it for years, but I don't know much about it. I'd like to know when, and by whom it was made. Thanks for looking.

This has a real Arts & Crafts look to it. I have a fancy Victorian Holmes type stereoscope and hundreds of cards that have been in my family since before 1901 when my great grandfather died. It looks nothing like your piece. Very unusual, to me, anyway! Nice.

i just picked up a viewer and two big boxes of photos of India, Ceylon [Sri Langka], Austria and Ireland all from right around 1905. Is this one missing something? or just a slimmed down version?

It's all there. I use it occasionally.
