I bought this vintage Frigidaire off a friend. Unfortunately I was unable to transport it. Was going to get it fixed. I ended up getting some smaller items instead.

I can totally understand the transportation problem. I was very happy to get a similar old refrigerator (Westinghouse, I think) from my parent’s storage room. It’s extremely heavy! Now it occupies space in my son’s garage waiting for that “someday” when I can get it spiffied up....
I bravely plugged it in once and the motor immediately started up, so I’m hoping it only needs a bit of TLC.
Thanks for posting this one.....you’ve reminded me not to forget about mine. :-)
These old models have so much character!
I did the same thing With one exactly like it
way too big so I just took the drawers and knobs
Watchsearcher you are welcome. I found out it would have cost an arm and a leg to get it working and brand new.
That’s one reason I haven’t gone ahead with mine. It would be perfect on a big screened porch during the summer to have cold drinks handy....but my porch is not adequate.
It would be cheaper to just buy a modern fridge but there would be no character in that.
I have the old aluminum ice trays with the handles; I’d love for kids to experience those, especially since they only know how to hold their glass under an ice dispenser on the freezer door.
