This is a souvenir jacket brought to my mom by my dad, after his tour of duty in Viet-Nam
It's made of silk, and soldiers would have them embroidered with their names, places/dates of service and company.

Nice tour jacket. Your silk lining is better than most and the unit designation makes it more desirable (even if it is for Military Police).

The condition looks great-- vibrant colors. Was it ever worn?

Thanks for sharing, these are heavily reproduced and it is nice to see a real one.

It wasn't worn much, we lived in Panama after my dad came back...
It's a good thing he had all that info embroidered, because that is just about all the information I have about him there.
      Thanks for commenting, Scott!

You can't beat the weather in Panama!

I have been there a few times-- I loved the quick afternoon thunderstorms during the rainy season.
