Beautiful trio of vases, lovely green glow under UV light

Hmmmm? I’d check those vases for radio activity as they could be dangerous. Beautiful but lethal like radium was.

Thanks Valentino97 probably from the 20s maybe the Tiffin might be a little earlier

Thank you Newfld I kinda like it too

Rattletrap I have never heard that have always heard there was no chance of radio activity leakage from glass maybe I should look into it a little more

there is a regulation act around 1913 i believe concerning vaseline glass, and the reason was a sort 3%- 24 % uranium compound legislation and the application of the legislation was quite severe, and it does, not work , because people did,not the difference with the normal depression glass

somewere around 1957-1958-1959 came the deregulation act due to to the fact that the uranium compound was diminished , as long if you don,t or rub it or cut the glass , the danger is neglectable, nowadays we are more exposed to uranium for different reasons ( hospitals etc)

there has been a extended survey on cadmium , which was rather disturbing , the state of California even forbid the import of an amount of artifacts

and the Plymouth released a quite disturbing about plumbum and cadmium

so uraneum glass is a minor comparing to those

i say it again and probably for the 20196 time and i dont want to be patronizing , you have to know the legislation if you buy glass , uv and Geiger counter ought to be standard procedure
