New member and this is my first post. I’m looking for ID help on this vase I found while thrifting. I’m wondering if this could be a Murano vase by Jordan Imports. It’s 13”tall and 4” across the base. The base is smooth with no pontil. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
i don,t know what it is , its not sklo probably and not murano , it looks japanese
Hi, Welcome to CW. "Jordan" imports gets confusing - google thinks it's the country of Jordan. Murano glass and Sklo (Czech word for glass) can be ruled out as apostata has said.
well it is anybody,s game , but why has this to be Jordan import , and it no murano
welcome by the way,
Japanese was my first impression, too. Maybe our Japanese art glass expert will chime in!
Here’s a link to the post I saw on this site of a similar vase to the one I have. The base on the one I have is different but all other aspects including the measurements are the same.

des pudels kern, it, s the wrong comparison
Does anyone have a "Jordan Imports" label? Or picture of a vase with a label?

The plot thickens - there's a label in the last link!
well its simple jordan,s imports for murano is a gondula label and the bottom is or fossetta or pontil, asked the expert antique rose
and again the comparison is wrong because colelli is later asked antique rose she will explain , because you all mix it up, apparantely i can,t explain things well , she will do better
I will see if I can locate one with a label and report back.
Here is an example of a similar vase with the Jordan Imports label attached, but there isn’t a picture of the bottom of the vase.
