And not a bass either as seen on the famed album based on a replica trout mask. OK enough of my cryptic inside comments.
This is a 14" long trout of some sort. It lacks the red strip along the center as seen in the last photo. But it has the dots and such. But then fresh water fish seem to look vastly similar as far as coloring goes. Trout seem to be the most common. Apparently they have sharp needle like teeth.
The mount on this is the typical driftwood and lichen mount. Takes up a bit less space and looks more natural than the plaque mount. I think this is fish #6 for me. Fish and log cabins go together even though I don't fish.
Awesome looking trout!!
Brook Trout??
Thank you very much Scott.
Thank you very much wickencrafts. It is possible although it doesn't have a red belly.
Well I thought everyone knew I am colorblind.
Maybe brown trout??
Most of the trout / salmon I have captured were shiny "some shade of silver" I would say
