I found these four chinese bowls today at a thrift store. They were extremely dirty and gross - sticky. I cleaned them up a bit, but need to give them a thorough soak and wash now. Three of them have a goldfish design. On one of them, the goldfish are beautifully drawn and the other little round green things also show nice detail. Another one has slightly sloppier design/skill and on the third, the goldfish appear to be very hungry - they are so skinny! The fourth bowl has just fruit on it. They are all pretty nice bowls though. Any idea on when they were made?

I was told that these were 19th c ones - which surprised me a little bit. they are a lot nicer than some of the other bowls of this type that i have.
