Absolutely great looking large oval footed bowl. Highly glazed with raised dogs hunting boar. Great boar handles. Scene is the same on both sides. Only mark on bottom appears to be an 8. Measures 20” long 9.5” across and 9”tall. Any information about this piece would be greatly appreciated... Thank you...
Hello I'm not sure the age but it looks like something they would put on the middle of the table and maybe put meat in it are bread maybe a party after they hunted wild boar

Why wouldn't you call it a centerpiece for a hunt table? It could hold flowers or even food - a hearty stew after the hunt?
Yeah that's a good idea but I don't think the hunters would put flowers in that maybe it was the Bingo championship
my best guess would be GERMAN,...Ive seen a few bowls with the same theme but not the same bowl as yours.. hope it helps ya ..
