Hello, I have this oblong bowl with no mark on the bottom, except some numbers, 15 19. It had a little store tag with the price and the word Limoges, but I don't know if it's a really Limoges. Thank you very much!

      Hi, Lilic. Beautiful. :-)

I'm no expert, but it seems doubtful that it's Limoges if it has no fired or stamped hallmark associated with Limoges:

      https://antique-marks.com/antique-limoges-porcelain.html

Valuation isn't done here in Collectors Weekly Show & Tell. There is a link for appraisal at the top of the page (but it isn't free).

Very nice it would be very good and help simplify matters if we could see the bottom

Thank you for your answers! It's nothing on the bottom, just these little embossed numbers " 15 19". Maybe it's made in Japan, Taiwan or China, but it's very carefully finished. I did a search after image on the internet and... nothing.

      Lilic, you're welcome.

FYI, I tried to search for Limoges pieces that have no fired or stamped hallmarks associated with Limoges, as well as those that might have only applied stickers, and found only that some people actually sell Limoges stickers.

Why? Because the name Limoges has a lot of cache, and it's fashionable.

It is a beautiful piece, regardless of who made it.
