This is an Irish souvenir rosary, made of connemara marble.
It displays various shades of translucent green that are reminiscent of the verdant land of Eire.
Connemara means "of the sea" and comes from the Connemara Mountains in the most western parts of Ireland in County Galway.
Celtic crucifix.
It's at least 25 years old, because that's when I bought it at a thrift store, for about $2.
Rosaries like this one can still be purchased, and can cost between $50-$90
