This Fukuoka vase is about 8" high and 4" in diameter at the top and 3" at the bottom. It weights 5 lbs and 3 ounces and has its original label. The bottom is concave and ground flat around the edge.
This was on an online auction site for many months. It was priced way too high and also had a very high shipping cost for the size of the vase, but it is a pretty piece so I kept an eye on it. It was not at all a good deal for the total cost so it did not sell. I made the seller a more reasonable offer, based on my knowledge of the value of Japanese glass, still a bit too high based on the shipping costs, and was a bit relieved when they turned my offer down. Several more months went by and their price went down a bit but it still did not sell, it was still overpriced. I decided to try my original offer one more time, since I really like it, and was a bit surprised when they accepted it this time. I still paid too much for it, but it is a nice piece and not too large.
My second Fukuoka piece and probably my last, unless something exceptional at a bargain price pops up...

Nice, they knew glass.
Thanks for the information, Karen! It is the only example that I have seen.
