I'd appreciate any info on what this coin is about....thanks.
I don't see any double strike? All I see is a tarnished dime? Can you elaborate on what you think is going on..I'm not a coin expert but I've seen a few...
I'm kinda with dav2no1 -- nobody's expert, but I don't see anything too abnormal in it either...?
Same here.
Sorry but I make the fourth,
it looks as though, it’s a Katrina Coin
Coins that were inaccessible
for months ,in bank vaults .
the flooding after Hurricane Katrina
in New Orleans in 2005
They were beginning to turn
to rust and dust ..
Multiple denominations of coins
stacked on top of each other ..
Lost in the Mud
Found after the Flood
Have you ever taken a penny minted after they were copper, a zinc penny, well place it on electric stove, on could turn it red hot and watch the zinc puddle out? That's what your 2092 penny looks like, actually whoever told you it may have been in a fire, was prob correct. Got a good hint for you, if you like coins, buy a metal detector...lots of fun, seems you are trying to pull straws, at making something out of something that's not, dont mean to offend you, but seems like your ambitious enough to go out and find some real valuable coins...In reality all the coins you posted are likely considered damaged, and not errors, and even error coins, are a specialized field, most of which hurts the value, rather than adds to it...
Probably environmental damage.
