My other find from yesterday...a simple yet attention - grabbing spatter glass vase that was on the same shelf as the Welz basket.
This vase is made from three layers of cased glass - clear over a bright pink spatter, with a white interior.
It measures 20 cm tall, 5.3 cm across the top rim, & 5.5 cm across the base.
A classic form which inserts a cone into a globe, with a small knop in between. Note the single spot of light orange spatter!
Late 19th century, possibly Bohemian, although Legras made similar spatter pieces.
It's definitely one for all the folks out there who love PINK glass!
Spectacular vase!!!
Many thanks, jscott0363!
