Thanks so much Scott for your fabulous compliment, I just happened on this orig Heisey dish and was really impressed with how they got the feathery swan texture so right, in nature they are such serene water birds
Thank you Aimathena for your wonderful compliment, I am truly glad you enjoyed this swan piece & also appreciated its loveliness, very kind of you
Thanks Kinki for your sweet praise and noticing the pretty pink color, flamingo pink was one of Heisey's nicest pinks and I believe that shade is also found in depression glass, it's very soft and has a touch of coral in it, perfect for this swan
Phil she is quite the lively swan with all that natural feather sculpting in the glass, almost looks like it should be gliding across a lake (perhaps Swan Lake, one of my favorite ballets & musical scores). Thanks as always for your lovely compliment
Thank you Rob for the thoughtful love and kind support, I'm very grateful and so pleased that you liked this Heisey dish
Thanks Mani & Gillian for the thoughtful love, so kind of you & glad you enjoyed this pink Heisey swan dish
Thank you Michael for the love and appreciation, I'm so very grateful & pleased that you enjoyed this Heisey swan
whats not to love about a swan....very nice ..
Thanks Shuzbut for your great comment, I agree swans are always a beloved image in glass & other forms, really glad you liked this feathery dish
Always grateful for the love Shuzbut and Sean, thanks guys for your thoughtful consideration
Thank you Thomas for the love for this swan dish, very glad you liked it and always grateful for your kind consideration
CW READERS BEWARE, some guy is using my post to advertise and reprinted it verbatim. I have reported this to Ben and CW Support but because he is sneakily doing this on a weekend there may be a delay in its removal. Crazy people out there guys!!
Yeah people suck. I have found several of my CW descriptions copied exactly onto ebay. Have not had it happen on CW, though!
Thanks Kevin, this is a first for me. Not only does he copy the same photos & entire description, he adds my seahorse profile pic as if I'm endorsing him? Really, ancient Rome on a pink glass swan lol!!
Thanks Kevin & Vynil for the love & Kevin for comment (see above)!!
I reported the bogus copy post of my Heisey swan to CW several times, the guy just wants attention to his sales ad which doesn't even have anything to do with collecting. He has been on this site before for sales I recognize the name, but NO WAY do I endorse him in any way. My husband says they take screen shots of your pictures that's pretty sad
Newfld, Whoever they are, they're up to no good, and it goes beyond copying your post.
Ostensibly, that romannumerals website of theirs doesn't sell anything, but I think they're trying to harvest email addresses.
Their website was registered in May of this year, and the registration is private.
Just rotten.
In Rotterdam and Denmark
Newfld, Both the bogus post and the user acount used to create it are gone now.
Thanks keramikos for letting me know, glad someone in Mgmt saw it - I was worried he was going to do it on my other posts too, it was SO strange. I am not a tech savvy person so there was really nothing I could do. I recall the poster's name from seeing it here before, and am sure you're right he wanted me to contact him with MY email address to gain access, I knew enough not to take the bait :) Thanks Vynil also for the cute comment, & thank you all friends for looking out for me
Newfld, You're quite welcome.
It would have been ordinary theft if the copier was using your post to sell something outright. However, once I looked at their website, and didn't see an obvious sales pitch, I felt compelled to look further. It made me uneasy.
I'm glad it's gone.
I reported it as well..
Thank you Dave, you guys were all great. Let's hope that weirdo is gone for good, don't need the drama!
