I found this large ashtray - i presume for cigars yesterday at a second hand store in Berkeley, CA. The name - Etntektone Zigarren is on the center with Stamtissen and Etntektone Zigarren around the rim. I assume Wunstorf is the maker. this piece is over 10 inches across.

one of my earliest memories is from when the Beauty Salon advertised on the ruler burned down.

That one word on the rim isn't STAMMTISSEN, but rather STAMMTISCH, which has a special meaning in German culture:
