Clocksmith

I have a few of these (the first runs were not Amazon models & had a clock key that attached to the rear) and have always been curious as to how popular they were because they were designed to wake you up yet struck hours and half hours on a bell through the night. Were they the “poor man’s mantle clock”?
Pretty nice example. If you get a chance, could you post another photo of the back of the clock? Thanks for sharing.
Here is the back of the Amazon which I believe is a later improvement on the smaller Racket which has no shut-off and winds with a detached key. The spare movement I bought from a seller who didn’t recognize it as a time, strike & alarm.
Hi,
I don't see the photo of the back in your listing. You can have up to four photos for your write up. So "Amazon" is the model name of this Ansonia Clock? Do you happen to know approximately what year or years they were offered to the public? Thanks much.
I believe the other pictures landed in the new posts. I would say that these alarms were in the 1900-1910 range.
