    Dortmunder Beer Mirror. It is an etching of their manufacturing facility. Dated 1869. Beer exporter.

      Nice piece of history! Just a thought: The item is not dated 1896. It says that this is the year the brewery was built. The first link that you provided states that in 1879 the first beer was shipped overseas. Your item has a reference to overseas sales. For that reason, your mirrors must have been made later than 1879.
      By the way, your mirror would look great in any bar:)

      This mirror was presented to DAB in Magdeburg in 1878 for meritorious achievements in the field of German culinary art and hospitality. It is an etching of the DAB beer factory that was built in 1869.
