The vase was made by the Fritz Heckert glassworks around 1898, measuring 11 x 16.2 cm. Shape design: Otto Thamm, decor design: Max Rade. The vase is marked on the bottom: F.H. 4697. MR. A vase of the same shape and decor (painting in a different color) is published in the book by S. Zelasko: Fritz Heckert - p. 170, fig. 268 (marking: FH 4687 MR).
