This morning I went out to the Indiana State fairgrounds automotive swap meet and found this embossed A&P self-service grocery store sign from the 1930’s and 1940’s. It’s a big 7’ porcelain sign. Managed to get in the back of the pickup truck and tied down and got it home. Very windy here in Indy. Cleaned and already to hang. Another nice sign from Indiana.

Awesome find Michael!! I remember the A&P stores very well. Their Eight-O-Clock coffee was the best!!!

We had an A&P in our side of town when I was growing up. The wrong side of the tracks it was.

Another awesome sign that really belongs in the Lakeside Museum but somehow made it to your place first. :):)
