I found these in a coin collection and cannot find any information about them. All I know is what you can see in the pictures. I have another one just like these but smaller in diameter. This one is about the size of a dime. Any help in identifying them is appreciated.
Back in the mid 1970's there were a lot of people in numismatic circles who advocated gold as an investment in coin form. In one of the Krause Publications titles there was also a regular feature for a few years called the Glitter Bug Beat. I can't remember this item but it must have been some sort of premium.
Thanks for the reply! I’ll see if I can find anything more with that info.
Hello! I was very excited to find this post. I’m hoping after 4 years I can still get some help! Did you ever find any info on this gold bug coin? I just got one from a friend and I can’t find ANY info on it! Mine is a bit different as it reads Gold Ban 1933 Repealed 1975 but does have the USC logo. It weighs 1.61 grams and reads .999 gold on a sigma. Just can’t seem to find any info as to any particular mint or if it does carry any premium. Thanks in advance!!!
