I really like these Cloisonné vases they are beautiful works of art and the great thing is if you get bored looking at it you only need to turn it around and its completely different! On one side this has flowers with a bird between them and on the other side a leafless plant with small blue flowers . Two for the price of one! Stands 210mm high. Just added a photo, forgot to put a wooden stand with it. Got this vase today and it didn't come with one. I have quite a few spares that I find at garage sales, makes you think what did I miss and who was the plonker who didn't know enough to take them :)
It's a lovely one.
Our expert Lisa (TruthorDare) would be able to tell you age and probably maker.

is it Chunghwa Minkuo Jonghwa Min'gwo Zh?nghuá Mínguó AKA Republic of China no the design and the enameling is different
is it PRC ( Mao period ) could be but not so likely
it is a 4 layer copper brass enameling with a top top curvi linear rim which actually is an indication for late enameling
the design is quite commonRúyì tóu accompagnied with an double flourishing , in this case yinghua and juhua , blossiming cherries and chrysanthemum probably
it is a very cute but as far as i can see the quality is mediocre, probably export from 1970 on
i got an assumption about the quality , i think the base is enameled , which is not the best indication , cute vase , you have to start somewhere and it is hard good cloissone , actually i think there is no decent cloissonee under 1000 dollars

Thanks apostata didn't think I had anything really valuable and you are right the underneath of the base is enamelled. Still I like these things they are very decorative.
