Budweiser Store Displays
Palm tree is approximately 8' tall (just over)
When I was in my early 20s, I was a manager for a Circle K store(had to be 1991?). I saved a few of these store displays and somehow they survived through several moves. You'll notice the local rock station stickers and some automotive stickers...seems like I had it in one garage, but mostly hung on a wall. Finally I have a home bar to hang them in.
These type of displays were used around a beer display. There would have been a cardboard pole attached to the back to support it. Did you notice it's Bud Lite and Bud Dry?
BUD DRY (1990 - 2010)
"Bud Dry was a beer brewed by Anheuser-Busch in the United States and was a member of the Budweiser family of beers. It was introduced nationally in the U.S. in April 1990 with the slogan of "Why ask why? Try Bud Dry." "
The palms and sand around the bottom of the cans make me feel at home. That's my story and I sticking to it.
I'd wager you had a few beers while sitting in that sand over the years...
Damn, I've been found out ! Yeah, and had some sand get in the beers. Was on the beach for a wedding last month, and that was the 1st time in at least 5 yrs.. Sand is a pain in the r'ass. Stops up drains, finds it way into beds, houses etc.. Certainly better to live with than snow and ice ! Easier to sweep the walk than shovel it. People get the wrong idea about truly living in these places.
BTW, it's rare to see Budweiser here. Americans can't make beer anymore. Only American would drink that shit.
BB2...your way off. As a matter of fact, bud and bud lite are in the top 10 best selling beers in the world. And they are owned by Inbev(Belgium) which also has Becks and Stella.
And not my cup of tea...BUT Pabst has been in business for 177 years! Hard to argue with that kind of brewing history. And Budweiser is like 145 years old.
Stella we get. I haven't seen Becks in yrs.(probably because Bud started making it). LOL !! Corona & Presidente are the biggest sellers here. Most other Islands have their own local beers and I haven't found one I didn't like. Now I know why the price on Stella went way up. (Presidente is made in the D.R.). Luv your promotional stuff, but just think Amer. beers taste too much like water.
Very cool Bud displays!
Hi. You have very cool items. Love the cut outs.
