I am wondering if anyone here knows anything about condition and rarity issues with Wedgwood. This platter appears to have either color loss or is a factory second?

Your platter is over 100 years old, and any colour loss is most likely due to its' age. The pattern is applied using a transfer.
Here's a link from Vatican.com with many Aesthetic Movement items including written information on each piece(s).

Forgot to mention that your makers stamp has most likely worn off. If you do a take a look at some of the listings in the link, you'll find some makers stamps in the bunch.
Thanks! It’s my current love affair hahahahaha.
No condition issues that I see at all. A great Aesthetic Movement serving dish.
Thank you. :)
haven,t got my gear here , can,t be that difficult , because it is panama double asterix , + coffeerim + beehive crackle reverse, this is something like 1882-1883
photo 4 is misleading (verneukeratief ) because it is just flaring afterglaring probably
the trransfer in it self is rather well
the transfer is not full grip in the sloping of the bowl ( see the fruit)
reverse is well no attrition , crackle reverse aint flooded
quality is suffisant just minor issues
