My dad joined the US Navy in 1939. did his booth camp in San Diego. He was assigned to the USS Tern AM-31 as a gunner's mate. In June of 1940 the fleet was moved from San Pedro, CA to Pearl Harbor, T.H. He was aboard ship on Dec. 7 1941. After 20 years of the Navy he retired. Sometime in the 1960's he joined the Pearl Harbor Survivors Assn. He purchased this hand made clock and I don't know how many were made. when my dad passed away in 1991, it was given to me.
Wow. He was out in the harbor on that terrible day. >8-0
