This bowl belongs to the Welz décor family, Translucent Lines and Spots. The base glass is the palest I've come across in this décor and the 'Lines' are the least distinct. The last image shows it with another pale example, though not quite as pale.
Diameter 16.5 cm./6.5 inches Height 8cm./3.25 inches
Lovely shape and such clean colours.
As usual for many of these Czech pieces it still looks fresh and modern.
Just so, Karen, and a little treasure for me as this type of Welz is not common in the UK.
I agree with Karen a white modernist flower
Thank you, Sylvia, a fully opened modernist flower, just before the petals begin to fall.
Looks closely to Tango but the outer layer isn't entirely clear. Is it a light yellow?
Hi Iwona, It's opalescent glass and image three is the best representation of the colour.
