Dragon Hungary 1945 Wiking Division Armored Reconnaissance Heinz Figure 1/6 Scale 2001

Another highly detailed figure from Dragon. The big feature here is the MP 44 assult rifle and camouflage uniform. The MP 44 was in between a rifle and a pistol round and fires what is called an intermediate cartridge. It was a good idea but ammunition was scarce.
This guy's name is Heinz and he is based on a very late in the war German Soldier as in just a few months left. He would want to be moving west as the USSR was not happy with them.
I think I got all his gear on correctly for once. He seems to look more lifelike compared to other figures. I think the hands are the key. Other figures tend to have rather blocky hands.
