I got a set of 20 of these figures so instead of posting them all at once I will post them in small batches. This first batch is the larger predators. This group has a bear with cub, coyote or wolf, fox and bobcat. The largest is the bear at 3 1/2" long to give an idea of the scale. Pretty much typical for the playsets of the 1950s through 1970s. This group of animals all seem to be a similar scale but the smaller ones yet to come are a larger scale as they would be too small for play at a real scale. The chickens in the farm playsets would be 3 feet in real life but I think everyone gets the idea.
So far I have discovered these came with the Boys Camp Playset which is a Boy Scout set, haven't found one yet. If you went to camp you have a pretty good chance of seeing a coyote or a fox. Bobcat possibly and bears depending on how well they fortify their garbage cans.
Not sure what is coming tomorrow but it may or may not be exciting.
Gorgeous animals!
Thank you very much Newfld.
