First of all I don’t know why these pictures came out sideways because they are not that way in my library. I don’t see a way to edit them on this website from my phone. So sorry about that. I just picked this up at a flea market in Florida where the vendor had purchased the estate of a New Yorker who was in the entertainment business and publication business. There was a lot of awesome stuff . On the back is a small old paper saying that this is by Susanna Paine And the note is signed L French. I don’t know if that’s a family member but that’s what I assume. The family involved with the estate was from Massachusetts I believe. Pretty much just a show and tell.
Go to "Navigation" at the very bottom of this page. Go to "Help & FAQ's". Go to "Photo & Scanning Tips". Hope I didn't leave a step out. Welcome to CW!
"Rotate your photos. After the shoot, be sure to rotate your photos if needed so they appear right-side up. Images shot with a smartphone or tablet sometimes do not appear properly rotated on our site, so you may want to download photos to your computer first and then rotate them using your computer’s photo-editing software before uploading."
Please take a photo of the complete picture, as well as the back. Thank you.
Lovesred, Cool :-)
I concur with Gillian about posting pictures of the entire photograph, front and back.

A tip that they don't give you: edit your photo on your phone, and trim it to make the long sides of the rectangular image just a little bit shorter. Then edit your post, delete the incorrectly oriented photo, and replace it with the edited one.
For whatever reason, CW S&T software doesn't play well with all makes and models of smart phones and tablets, and sometimes this minor edit will solve the orientation problem.
