Very pleased to at last!! receive this fabulous pair of Early Loetz Onyx opaline glass vases…1887-1888.
Apart from minor gilding loss to the neck they are in excellent condition for their age.
It surprised me when first saw them, that they were translucent, I was expecting them to be solid, so that was a nice surprise, and the colour is quite a lovely pinky brown.
Standing just under 11 inches tall...and quite heavy at 2lb 3oz.
So nice to have a pair and I juuuust! love them.

Michelle, I was! quite surprised to see the transparency of them, I really was expecting them to be a solid white as my others are and as seen in .com.. makes them quite delicate (till you pick them up) and different thanks for your lovely comment.
