A very early Boy Scout manual as it is from 1916 and the Boy Scouts began in 1910. Actually this one is from 1929 but the original printing is 1916. Note the cover is by Norman Rockwell who was doing art for the Scouts since the beginning. That is a relationship that lasted 60 years. It has all the usual information of Boy Scout Manuals such as requirements for rank advancement, where the patches go and so on. Plus then there is information of plants and animals. Then there is a section on wood work and mining. I think they tried to cover everything and then some. The print is a bit on the small side but plenty of exciting reading during slow times at camp.
Thank you very much Ms.CrystalShip. It is showing its age.
