Sadly this is missing the side door ramp but I tend to buy what I find in the wild. Plus it is an older and less common model plus another to add to my gray/grey wheel collection.
This model was first released and sold through 1963. But at some point the wheels were switched to black. Most likely that was 1963 but I am not sure about that.
The model is an ERF truck cab and chassis with a Marshall horse box. Although Matchbox just called it Marshall Horse Box on the underside, boxes and catalogs. It does have ERF on the grill of the truck though.
Matchbox made a larger one with horses later but this one has a certain charm the others lack. Even with no horses.
Super vintage horse carrier, very cool
Wow! so cool!!
Hey Fort, left you a message on your Railroad oiler - kinda like mine
Ever try to load a horse into a place where it doesn't see an exit ? Don't try !
Thank you very much Newfld.
Thank you very much ho2cultcha.
Got you covered antiquerose.
BB2 perhaps that is what the windows are for. Horse thinks that is the way out.
Horses aren't easily fooled and often smarter than their handlers. Takes time to get them trained and used to getting into a trailer. The "green" horses can give you a real experience. Been there, done that, don't have the T-shirt ! LOL. Each one has its' own personality and temperament. They keep you on your toes !
Very nice it makes me want to crawl inside
BB2 I have not done that but have ridden a horse. The horse does most of the work.
Thank you very much Vynil.
