Kyoto Satsuma sake ewer by the Yasuda Co. Approximate date Meiji period, signed in gilt Ryozan (Nakamura Tatsunosuke), and with Yasuda Trading Company black and gilt cartouche. He took his name from his teacher and predecessor Nishimura Zengoro and he was the most famous of the artists working for Yasuda Kyoto Tokiji Goshigaisha.

enlighten me , did i miss something, it looks like an turn of the century meiji , because horizontal okomota ryozan signed ( black )
IMO you got the best artist and the best kiln,but this is not the most refined design, the later Yasuda,s deviate
like unzan shuzan kizan seikozan, kanzan hozan and i think the goshi kaisha are more or less imitation
dont remove the sticker , because Victor Marsh was a legend, a sort of braniac Indiana Jones and powerseller
There is very little information about Ryozan but looks like he was the second Ryozan as his teacher was the first one. The Yasuda company (Kyoto Tojiki Goshi Kaisha ) was founded in 1896 and thinking this work was made in the late Meiji period but not completely sure. Not sure if it’s imitation but would be hard to use his mark if not him. Thank you very much for your comments.
i don,t know IMO it still remains Meiiji something like 1896-1910, not likely to be faked, you got an top notch collection , lets call this one slightly less superior
