    This is a Makuzu Kozan vase with ovoid form and short neck and flared rim. It has a motif depicting a warbler and bamboo leaves. Approximate date 1910.

      Thank you very much. Your comments are much appreciated. Yes it’s a lovely design and around this time the Makuzu studio made different vases with different birds motifs.

      this is unbelievable, no overflow no dispersion , you got even the ligatures on the bamboo, looks like a sort of dasshu design on the belly of the bird, very nice
