this is an mish -mash as far as i can see two dragons horizontal
The dragon style on your vase is the NOT classic
way to illustrate the Daoist dragon. The
dragon symbolizes the power of wind, rain,
thunder, and lightning. The water is the
heavenly pond from which the dragon emerges.

so you got a widening of the possible design , because normally it is cloud and thunder , and it probably still remains that simple, but the waves could could give a foam design

to my suprise the rim design don,t repeat the front design
the rim design is a stretch phoenix versus five clawed dragon competing the jewel of wishdown amidst clouds and flames, actually symbolisme for heavingly , and historiculy an royal court motif to represent heavingly power and spirit

the bowl is signed da qing quianlong nianzhi

normally this could be a Republic Period Planter, the tonality, the raised application , and the smoothness and the lack of fluidim , makes me think it is quite new

i have to guess , but let,s say from 1960 on

I appreciate your detailed response. Assumed it was relatively recent but quite attractive. Purchased at an estate sale for a fair price and will enjoy for many years to come.
