Such vessels are difficult to detect. In this color scheme only the pots and vases by Josef Hoffmann are known, for example PN II 8127, brilliant opal smooth with gold ("Lötz" Ricke, volume I, page 272, no. 330), see also Neuwirth "Loetz Austria 1905 -1018 ", page 245, cat. 56 and another with floral gold decor on page 251, cat. 59 (this vase is currently on display at PASK in Klatovy).
So far I have only seen four vases in the decor shown with landscapes and castles or palaces. For example on PN II 8410 / I (brilliant opal), on PN II 8628 and on this vase shown here. Presumably they were made for the J. Jouve company, Rue de Paradis in Paris.
Photo: Design 1913, PN II 8624, brilliant opal smooth with gold.
The decor was then etched out of the wall in two steps. Manufactured for the French customer (Jouvre, Paris). Height 8.3 cm.
