    Can anyone shed some light on the origins of my large wooden (suspect teak), hinged domed top, iron wrapped, wooden wheeled trunk. Dimensions: Length 1620mm(64"), Height 950mm(37"), Width 950mm(37"). Could this have arrived in New Zealand with early settlers? And from where? Any info much appreciated

      This is a Japanese trunk - a merchant's trunk, i believe. nice!
