When I saw this the other day on a pick I knew exactly what I was going to do with it when I got home. I put a gas globe holder on top of the pole and added one of my Standard Oil glass globe flames. I also ran electricity to the pole. The gas globe flame looks great lite up . On the bottom of the glass globe flame is embossed with Property Of Standard Oil Co. The flames were made from 1947 to 1961. These globes are getting harder and harder to find. I’m happy how the repurposing turned out.

It looks waaaaay to cool to be in your basement and needs to be repurposed in our museum.:):)
Hi! Oh, nice. At Heritage Park in Calgary, Alberta, where I live, someone donated their similar amazing collection. It is housed in a standalone building now, and a dedicated staff looks after the vintage and antique treasures. If you ever visit here, maybe add HP to your sights-to-see list. You might like to see what’s there.
Thank you all that stopped by and shared the love and the nice compliments! Always appreciated!!!

Thank you Daisy1000 for sharing the info. Very nice of you to take the time and tell me about it. Sounds like a good place for visit if I get up that way. Again thank you! :-)
