      Looks similar to British Enfield..so could be some variation of that..

      This looks like what is left of a British Lancaster 1855 bayonet. Tip is broken off and the scabbard would have been leather with brass trim

      Hello and thank you for your responses. Yes it does seem to match your comments relating to a British Bayonet. The pommel has the number 987 engraved into the top. The tip is broken off yes. Appreciate your kind feedback!
