I posted one of these before but now I have the box and the mintiest of mint models. And it is the less common D Box which I highly desire. This style box is the first to have a realistic color illustration of the model on the box. The difference between this and the next style, the E box is that "Series" is next to MATCHBOX as opposed to underneath it like it is on the E Style box.
The real version had an inline 6 cylinder engine which is revealed by opening the hood. Let's not criticize a different 1950s sportscar for the Blue Flame engine then.

Thank you very much Dave. Those prices are insane. Even more common redlines go for $100. Good reason to collect Matchbox and those aren't free.
