First day out of lockdown I came across these two Bohemian Tango Tripods in a Vinnies that I rarely visit. But on this occasion I went down to the area in search of replacement globes for our appartment. And they were both in perfect Knick !!! Returning home I checked on CW and saw that OZMARTY had listed one some years ago : JERICHO had suggested colour rarity and either Welz or Kralik as the maker. The contrasting blue of the tripod legs are a great contrast to the solid cadmium violet of the bowl.
In researching some other glass I came across the name that Dr. Jitka Lnenickova used to describe these legs in 2005 : ‘cik-cak’ …. the Czech term for ‘zig-zag’.
H : 15 cm or 6”.
W : 10 cm or 4”.
Lovely and a pair. Had to look up to see what a "Vinnies" was :)

I love the look of the bottom made to resemble the wrought iron stands made for a lot of glass. I remember a revival of these iron stands in the 1990's. You were really fortunate to find a pair as this post of yours does show that brilliantly. Gorgeous !~
