Do u think this is water
Can anybody read the signiture please I don’t think it is tanner
Bitsnbobs123.a, What makes you think it isn't Tanner?
It's certainly looks like *anner.
To my eye, there are only so many letters of the Western alphabet that the first character could be besides a "T," because of that stylized horizontal mark across the top, and "T" seems like the best candidate.
FYI, there is an artist surnamed Tanner from that period:
https://www.wikiart.org/en/henry-ossawa-tanner
He typically signed his work "H. O. Tanner," but occasionally signed in other fashions. This is not to say that your work necessarily was made by H. O. Tanner, but it's one possiblity.
Because I can’t find that signiture
I agree with you but it looks like an e at the side
Bitsnbobs123.a, I don't mean to be discouraging, but sometimes provenance for a collectible can't be found. I have a couple of things like that myself.
An "E" character would make the name Eanner.
