Again this small vase has random gilt smudges as a background to the main enamelled design. The enamelling itself is in high relief with additional gilding to further enrich it. It has the full Harrach factory codes but they didn't make the cut!
Height 22cm./8.5 inches
So realistically the artist captured the spring wind blowing thru the tulip flowers. So pretty!
Thank you, Watchersearcher. There would have been two artists. The creator of the original design and the decorator who interpreted the design in enamel paint on the glass vase. Different skills/talents but both essential. And largely gone now.
Even those random gilt smudges give me the impression they are bits of leaf debris blowing past in the wind gusts.
Yes, Watchsearcher, a little garden all on its own!
Oh my goodness Peggy, this is so beautiful! I love the way the large flower fills the main body of the vase! And this is quite a high relief enamel for Harrach, too. Just beautifully done!!
Just lovely Peggy!..
Dreamy & utterly gorgeous!
I think painted vases from Harrachov are the most beautiful and so are all the Harrachov items you recently have posted.
Michelle, indeed the main flower is sumptuous in its detail. Thank you!
Just so, Penny, I'm pleased you appreciate it too. Thanks!
Thank you Marin, I love your comment and, no surprise, I agree.
I'm getting a taste for Harrach vases, Iwona, as you see. I hope to explore their diversity though whether my luck will continue I've yet to find out.

Wow... you really getting into this Harrach vibe Peggy - good to see ; )
Hi Phil, I've been very lucky so far but I am enjoying it! Quite testing though as I'm not so sure of my footing!
