    ELNA pinking shears in the box (green with a clear peek a boo window) solingen germany on blade, ELNA on the other side of the blade, Black handles, found in my late grandmothers sewing box.
    Has anyone came across these before ?

      I don't know that I've ever seen Elna brand pinking shears before, but I have a pair of pinking shears. I think mine are Gingher brand.

      I think SOLINGEN would be the maker of these, I've seen that name on cutting tools before. Perhaps the ELNA (sewing machine?) brand was added for promotional purposes or something??

      I believe your right AnythingObscure, the ELNA sewing machine was also green, so it does make since the box is green as well.
      In the 1940s When they started, it seemed a promotional item is the only logical answer as I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Solingen for brand excellent call.
