These were a great find on eBay AU, a pair of vases in a fairly uncommon decor.
They measure 18 cm tall, 6.5 cm across the crimped top rims, & 6.2 cm across the base.
Made from three layers of cased glass - clear over a spatter of orange & green aventurine, with a white interior. The clear casing is quite thick, making these vases heavier than they look.
They feature broad, ruffled rigarees in clear glass. Rough snapped pontil marks on the bases.
Last photos show the pair with another vase of the same decor. The orange spatter is slightly lighter on this one.

Great Ruffles !!!
Another great Welz find Marin. It's increasingly clear that Welz was, in iis heyday, a sizeable operation.
Thanks so much, Scott!
Thanks also, Lori! I'm loving the frills on these, lots going on just how I like my glass...
Many thanks, Penny!
Yes, this decor is so vibrant, & I was thrilled to find more examples after the original one I found in 2017...
Much appreciated, Kevin! They are my kind of fancy, for sure!
Thanks also, Peggy, & I totally agree, the diversity in Welz production is fantastic, & interesting pieces just keep popping up...
Hey! Missed lots of posts but this one, wow.
This just reinforces my idea that Welz liked to throw everything they could into their glass. It worked!
Hiya Karen! Nice to see you back on board!
Yes, Welz made glass exactly as I like it - super fancy!
