This 1 3-4" frog brooch has a white rhinestone body and multi color cabochons with sculpted goldtone face & feet. By Sphinx of England (1950-1990s) ca 1960s, number mark beginning with the letter A

Cute frog, styled to the max!
It’s rained a lot here recently and we have lots of frogs around, croaking noisily, trying to get the girl. Love it.
Fabulous frog brooch- the big green stone reminds me of malachite( one of my favorite gemstones!) and perfect color for a frog! The one red stone is curious though, I’d kinda expect two red stones to be used as eyes for a real rainforest looking frog?! Very cute though and the webbed feet are a really nice detail!

I like how the feet are different. To me, the frog is wearing a king or queen crown :>)
You could wear it with any color outfit. A Marvous Brooch.
Love this gilded little masterpiece, I think I like turltles best and then frogs although it might be easier to collect frogs as I think turtles are more rare. I think any U.F.O. out there would rather bean one of these glass ones overboard. Why don't they collect anything out there, but no bond out there I guess. This one has some nice multicolour stones which makes it more appealing, so wonderful !~
I left the mistake above - would they beam one overboard or bean it - ah, life and its complexities !~

Karen thanks for your fantastic comment, and that's so cute about your frogs calling for a mate. I have to always remember we are seasonally opposite, here it is autumn & most of the animal sounds have quieted down. I love singing birds in the Spring, except when outdoor cats try to chase them, but then I get some exercise chasing the cats lol :)
You're so right Lauren, the solid green cabochons here are malachite colored, and froggy would be more rainforest looking with red eyes! Oh well, artistic license and all that. Love the webbed feet too, and thank you for your terrific comment
